With MAGO, Parshv Gothi is on a holistic path to provide men’s skincare products that are made from Indian and Korean-based ingredients. These products are made in state-of-the art facilities coupled with science-backed formulations. But this journey started much before the soft launch back in July 2024, Mumbai. Parshv Gothi is an expert on skincare and finds it to be an extension of an individual’s quality of life. It should be analyzed that skincare with the right intention and great products of MAGO is directed towards painting the most beautiful self. But when we think of skincare products for men, there are often reactions of laughter and jokes. And this was also the case for Parshv Gothi back in his college days. But Parshv witnessed it first hand, how these ridicules gradually evolved into curiosity and in time, his friends started reaching out to him for advice on how to take care of their skin.
Men’s skin have rough contours and are generally polar opposite to that of women, who come with a softer tone. Evidently, products will be different for both men and women. During the final year of his college, Parshv Gothi chose entrepreneurship as a major. There he understood from lectures that big cosmetic and skincare brands usually point out industry-wide gaps for men’s skincare products. Following these lectures, students were asked to complete a project. This happened to be the inception of Parshv’s MAGO. He completed his junior college education at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. Furthermore, Parshv Gothi completed his Business Management Studies at SP Jain School of Global Management.
Parshv Gothi looks into product development, creative direction and marketing strategy. At present, MAGO has two skincare products in the market. In the next few months, the company is expanding the portfolio with 5-6 additional SKUs, including sunscreen, serums, and shower gel. MAGO has India’s First Powder Cleaner for Men which is EWG verified. Parshv Gothi shares that MAGO’s products not only cleanse and hydrate but also enhance skin texture and tone, allowing customers to look and feel their best every day. Looking into business growth, Parshv Gothi says, “At Mago, we envision a future where men’s skincare is redefined—accessible, approachable, and effective.”
