India Prepares for the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
According to a report by The Financial Express, the Centre will also seek to exempt some sectors of the industry from the carbon tax.
The tax will be calculated based on all emissions, including indirect ones such as carbon released during electricity production.
