Mr. Rajesh Panda, Founder and CEO, Corporate Gurukul

Rajesh Panda founded Corporate Gurukul in 2007 as a training and support program for students for the corporate world and life in general. The purpose was to introduce a distinctive perspective to how we view ourselves in the current education system. The purpose of Corporate Gurukul, a Singapore-based organization, is to develop empathetic leadership in the youth.

The concept for the venture was inspired by the Gurukul system, which was founded around 5000 BC on the Indian subcontinent. To develop discipline and excellence by learning self-management and teamwork was the Gurukul system’s motto at that time. Students are restricted to only learning what they find in their books in today’s world, which negates the opportunity for students to innovate and create. Reading is not enough, it must be combined with practical knowledge. Gurukul prepares you for the challenges of everyday life that anyone can encounter.

Over the years, Corporate Gurukul has gained significant traction in its expansion, thanks to partnerships with the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and Amazon. 66,000 participants participated in employability skill assessments and training in 2008 for the Government of India. It showed how quickly Corporate Gurukul grew in just a year. In 2009-2010, over 20,000 undergraduate students obtained life skills training through a partnership with Infosys Technologies. In 2014 over 1,40,000 students were trained. A program for artificial intelligence internships was established with NUS and HP. These all programs were initiated to boost the capabilities of students and to let them lead their way.

A distinctive feature of Corporate Gurukul that sets them apart from other education systems is their world-class courses that give students the freedom to be creative and have a practical problem-solving mindset while working together as a team. Current education systems have potholes, and those aware of this opt for an alternative method of learning. The conventional educational system is similar to being confined in a cage, while Corporate Gurukul allows you to be free in your ideas and to apply them in your daily life. The students are taught a way of living that keeps them integrated into every facet of life, in addition to the technical and digital knowledge they acquire.

A CAGR of 150% has been observed by Corporate Gurukul in the last five years, and the expected GTV for the financial year 2021 is 3 Million SGD (Singapore Dollars). In FY 2022, Corporate Gurukul expects to generate revenues of $5 Million. The program is currently self-funded. The data provided is enough to predict that in the future the figures will increase at a rapid pace.

Artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, design, entrepreneurship, and leadership are the main research areas. Learnings from these fields are important since they form the framework for current realities. Corporate Gurukul places equal emphasis on experiential learning activities such as creative play, music, art, and exploring nature. The mission is to set strong footprints in the USA, UK, and Canada. And extending the presence in Africa and South America. The expansion plans have already been made and are ready to go with full force. Students and parents, understand the importance of such a kind of education system and the desire to get enrolled in Corporate Gurukul. Being able to provide something that will help someone live their lives to the fullest is a source of pride for us.
